CLASP Studio is the data controller responsible for processing your personal data as described in this Privacy Statement.

2. Which personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following personal data:

  • Billing and shipping address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Order and payment information
  • IP address
  • Device and browser data
  • Order history
  • Communication history (e.g. emails or messages you send us)

Payment details are processed securely via Shopify and its payment providers. We do not store full payment details ourselves.

We collect personal data when you:

  • Place an order on our website
  • Contact us via email, website forms or social media
  • Subscribe to our newsletter or marketing communications
  • Interact with our website through cookies and tracking technologies
4. Why we process your personal data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To process and deliver your orders
  • To communicate with you about your order or questions
  • To send transactional emails (such as order confirmations and shipping updates)
  • To send newsletters and promotional emails (only if you have given consent)
  • To send abandoned cart reminders
  • To improve our website, products and customer experience

We use MailBlue and Shopify Email to send marketing and transactional emails.

You will only receive marketing communications if you have given your consent.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails.

After unsubscribing, you may still receive transactional emails if you place a new order.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure proper functionality and to analyse and improve performance.

We use, among others:

  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel
  • TikTok Pixel
  • Pinterest Tag
  • Not excluding other analytical and marketing tools

We are active on:

When you interact with us via social media, the relevant platform may process your personal data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

8. Sharing personal data with third parties

We only share your personal data with third parties when necessary for our services, including:

  • Shopify (website platform and hosting)
  • Payment service providers (via Shopify and Mollie)
  • Shipping partners (MyParcel and PostNL)
  • Email marketing tools
  • Analytics and tracking providers

We ensure that these parties process your data in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Some of these parties may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this is the case, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

9. How long we keep your data

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary.

  • Order and invoice data are retained for at least 7 years to comply with Dutch tax legislation
  • Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe
  • Customer service communications are retained as long as necessary to handle your request

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Restrict or object to data processing
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications
  • Request data portability

“Request: removal of customer data” and specify which data your request concerns.

We may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

11. Children & age restriction

Our products may be used by individuals under the age of 18.
However, placing an order on our website is only permitted if done by a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18 without parental consent.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
